OTIP - The Story

Almost 40 years ago, a group of like-minded individuals came together to create OTIP, the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan. Their goal isn’t to make money. They are a not-for-profit insurance advocate working for you and members like you. Members are their reason for being — helping them protect the people and things they care about with a full range of group and individual insurance products. They work with the best insurance companies to shape and innovate products and services specially built for you. As a not-for-profit organization, the proceeds they generate are used to fund valuable member-support programs. They believe that insurance built around their members is the best insurance of all. Every product and service they offer has been shaped and improved by their deep understanding of your needs.
